Hawthorn Class has been on a historical journey! They continued their historical journey into the Islamic Civilisation of Baghdad, diving into our class text, The Golden Horseman of Baghdad, and learning about the incredible House of Wisdom. The children explored Arabic symbols, practised calligraphy to create bookmarks, experimented with tessellation patterns, and even tried their hand at soap carving!
